Welcome to MLK Weekend, the time when Columbia Heights and Mt. Pleasant rallies around Rosemont and Delafield houses for what amounts to an entire weekend of fun, frolicking and house partying.

The highlight of the weekend is the Sunday Night dance party at Delafield, not far from the Georgia Avenue/Petworth Metro stop. It's usually packed, a lot of fun and lots and lots of alcohol is provided. There is a suggested donation at the door or on your way out but this money goes to a charity deemed worthy by Rosemont (last year it was Anacostia River cleanup I think).
